Steven Espinosa, a former professional dancer of fifteen years, Steven has been teaching yoga since 1991. Having received his training at City Yoga in Los Angeles from Sue Elkind, Naime Jezzeny and Anthony Benenati, he has taught both nationally and internationally. In 1994, after having taught for several years at many of the top studios in LA, Steven was invited to travel to Berlin to help open the first all Anusara studio in Germany. Upon his return to the U.S., Steven was offered an opportunity to teach in Las Vegas at Yoga Sanctuary which he has enjoyed immensely. For Steven, returning to LV as a yoga teacher has brought him full circle from his days as a dancer on tour with Sammy Davis Jr.

An Affiliated Anusara instructor, Steven's highest intention is to inspire and empower students to remember their own true greatness, infinite goodness and unlimited potential through the physical practice and philosophical teachings of Anusara yoga. Steven's joyful, playful and heartfelt approach to yoga, combined with his deep understanding of alignment, anatomy and therapeutics has allowed him to realize that desire.
In addition to teaching, Steven has also had two plays produced in New York as a writer. He is also a self-confessed "kirtan junkie" having sung on cd's with both Krishna Das and Wah! In 2003 he was the credited on-set yoga teacher for the cast & crew on the film LEGALLY BLONDE 2.
