Hatha Yoga comes from the Sanskrit words "ha" which means sun and "tha"
which means moon, referring to the masculine (sun) and feminine (moon)
currents of energy in the human system. It is the branch of yoga that brings
union of these pairs of opposites. It uses physical postures (asanas) and
breathing techniques (pranayama) to energize and clear the energy channels
called "nadis". Hatha Yoga improves health and brings vitality to the body,
