Bikram Yoga is named after its founder, Bikram Choudhury.
Bikram's Beginning
Yoga is practiced in a heated room of around 100 degrees. Be
prepared to
sweat. A series of twenty-six postures and two breathing
exercises is
performed in ninety minutes. Each posture is performed twice and
held for a
certain period of time. Practice of this style promotes
cleansing of the
body, release of toxins and the utmost flexibility.
